Yes, our AZA-class of labels are thermal-transfer printable and require a ribbon to be printed. To achieve the proper printout, these labels require a RR-class ribbon of the same width or larger.

Can these labels be used to identify microscope slides?

Yes, our blackout chemical-resistant labels are designed for flat surfaces, including microscope slides. However, for microscope slides subjected to extended xylene exposure, we recommend our XyliFIL™ and XyliSTUCK™ labels.

Do these labels resist histological stains?

No, our blackout labels are not suggested for use in histological staining protocols. These labels are intended for post-stain relabeling.

Are these labels available in color?

No, AZA-class labels are not offered in color. For color chemical-resistant labels see here.

Can AZA-class labels be removed?

Yes, these labels are coated with a glove-friendly adhesive, made for easy removal. For permanent blackout labels click here.

How do I print AZA-class labels from a template?
