RFID Labels for Microscope Slides
These chemical-resistant RFID labels are intended for identifying glass microscope slides, commonly used in histological procedures. When printed with our XAR-class of solvent-resistant ribbons and applied onto a flat surface, they will withstand up to 15 hours of immersion in solvents, such as xylene, as well as exposure to alcohols, acetone, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO), and other harsh chemicals.
These UHF RFID labels can be printed and encoded with up to 32 hexadecimal characters of information using dedicated RFID thermal-transfer printers and printed with alphanumeric text, 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as serialized data. The integrated RFID chip allows multiple labeled microscope slides to be read simultaneously, even when fully immersed in xylene.
