Yes, the smartphone component is equipped with a 2D imager to scan most common 1D and 2D barcodes. It also reads NFC tags.
The UHF gun grip is an extension of the smartphone meant to specifically read UHF tags.
The UHF reader has a maximum read range of 6m (19.6 feet). However, please note that the read range also depends on the size and thus the signal strength of the antenna and may therefore be lower than the maximum read range of the reader.
The fastest read rate is 750 tags/second. However, this rate is affected by environmental factors and may therefore be lower.
No, the device comes with no software for scanning RFID tags pre-installed. You would have to integrate the reader into an already existing platform, e. g. an RFID-enabled LIMS. We can provide you with a basic program from the manufacturer, allowing you to execute a few basic functions, such as taking RFID tag inventory and reading/writing individual tags.
No, but we are working to provide you a complete RFID solution. Please contact us if you’d like to be notified once we can offer a suitable software.
The device is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery, which can last for up to 16 hours of working time, depending on use.
