We use this item to label histology cassettes later processed in a Xylene free dehydration process using a sequence of 70% Ethanol, 96% Ethanol, 6x 100% Isopropanol all at 40 degrees centrigrade and followed by 3x Paraffin at 62 degrees centigrade. As long as one takes care to firmly press the labels including their circumferential edges onto the cassettes, the labels work perfectly, stay attached and do not come of during processing. The labels will also stick to paraffin blocks that need additonal labelling for identification purposes before they are sent out to other pathology departments. Great product, that performs as advertised and intended. We love it.
