Tamper-Evident Cryogenic Labels

Tamper-proof cryogenic labels for secure sealing of tubes, cryovials, freezer boxes, and other cryogenic containers. Once applied to the container the labels will tear-up or destroy upon any attempt to remove them at room temperatures or at frozen state. These versatile labels are ideal for secure storage and transportation of valuable or sensitive biological samples. This includes materials for sperm banking, oocyte cryo-preservation, and animal breeding, forensic evidence, hazardous or infectious bacteria, viruses, and microbes, and other biological materials.

C-KurTAG™ tamper-evident cryogenic labels are made from thermoplastic material, making them water-proof, and able to withstand long-term storage in liquid nitrogen (-196°C) and laboratory freezers (-80°C), as well as transportation on dry ice. They can also resist exposure to temperatures as low as -269°C in liquid helium.
