Description
Cryo-WrapTAG™ – Wrap-Around Cryogenic Thermal-Transfer Labels
- Resist cryogenic conditions storage such as vapor phase and liquid phase liquid nitrogen
- The labels are self-laminating, protecting the information from abrasion and scratching
- Able to withstand exposure to harsh chemicals and solvents
- Permanent adhesion, especially on curved surfaces (cryo vials, microtubes)
- Resistant to gamma irradiation (tested up to 50 KGy)
Self-laminating cryogenic labels that protect the printed information from alcohol, bleach, DMSO, and detergents to ensure the secure identification of tubes and cryo vials. Designed for long-term preservation under cryogenic laboratory conditions, including liquid nitrogen (-196°C/-321°F), -80°C (-112°F) freezers, and dry ice, and can withstand temperatures up to +100°C (+212°F). Labels can be written on with cryo markers, and printed with all major brands of thermal-transfer printers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, as thermal-transfer labels Cryo-WrapTAG requires a ribbon to obtain a proper printout. We recommend our RR-class of resin ribbon, which should be of the same width or larger.
No, Cryo-WrapTAG labels are best applied at room temperature. However, we do offer wrap-around labels for labeling already frozen vials and tubes, our wrap-around CryoSTUCK® labels.
Yes, our wrap-around labels are available in sheet format, for printing with laser printers. For our durable wrap-around laser labels click here.
Please consult our handy sizing guide where you will find recommendations for the most common vial/tube sizes.
Barcoding or label design software can be used to create templates that conform to the size of your label. You can then insert design elements within the template, for easy printing.
No, HBTT labels are designed for cryogenic use, and are not suitable for high-heat conditions. However, CATT-class Cryo-WrapTAG labels are autoclave-resistant.
