Overview
The Cody-3 desktop thermal printer is capable of printing high quality 300 dpi text, barcodes, and graphics on many label types and configurations. It can print directly on thermal media or by thermal transfer mode using an ink ribbon. Professional looking labels can be achieved by following the easy-to-use software (included). Multiple connectivity options are also included.

In general, this printer can accept ribbons with a core diameter of 1’’/25.4mm. The maximum ribbon length usable in this printer is 984’/300m.

No, the Cody-3™ contains no DRM technology and can be used with labels from various third-party manufacturers.
This issue can be addressed by increasing the heat transferred to the ink ribbon. Please refer to this page if you are using the BarTender software. Please contact our technical support team if you require further assistance.
The printer will receive the actual label size when you send a print job to the printer and thus usually does not require calibration. However, the printer also has a calibration button if manual calibration should be needed. Please refer to page 11 of the manual on the flash drive you received with the printer to locate the button. Hold the button until the LEDs on the printer start to flash orange to initiate manual calibration.
