Syringe Labels

SyringeTAG™ is intended for the secure and accurate identification of medications in the hospital, pharmacy, nursing, medical and clinical laboratory settings, and more. These plastic labels are ideal for the labeling of syringes (1ml, 2ml, 3ml, 5ml, 10ml, and others) used and stored at room temperature, in refrigerators (+4ºC) as well as in freezers (-20ºC, -40ºC, -80ºC).

Resistant and durable, these labels retain their adherence, integrity of print, resistance and other qualities in a range of temperature going from -80ºC to +100ºC. Waterproof and wear and tear proof, they also resist multiple freeze-thaw cycles and can be used for dry-ice transportation.

SyringeTAG™ is composed of a white two-sided printing area attached to a long transparent band. The clear adhesive band wraps around the syringe barrel, securing the label in place without obscuring the scale, barrel or plunger tip. The waterproof permanent adhesive maintains its adherence when exposed to water and even alcohol. The two-sided printed area flags from the body of the syringe displaying the printed data, identifying the meds, patient, date, and other essential information.

These labels come in a roll format on 1” and 3” cores and can be printed with all major brands of thermal transfer printers such as Zebra, SATO, Datamax O’Neil, Intermec, Printronix, and others. They accept writing with permanent markers and can be printed with various types of text, graphics, serial numbers, and other data, including 1D and 2D barcodes. Printing of SyringeTAG™ with alcohol-resistant ribbons is essential to obtain a print that can withstand disinfection with alcohols, without compromising the printed information.
